Human Potential


Human potential is a topic that has been explored by many throughout various fields of endeavour. Religions have covered it from a perspective that suggests through faith we all have access to unlimited reserves of power from a higher source. Scientists have looked into countless areas such as evolution, genetics, the human body, the brain, artificial stimulants and so much more. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

We look at human potential, as well as fitness and mental/psychological capacity, from a practical perspective. In this site you will find no theories or idealistic concepts. Everything is put to the test. It is my belief that in order to really discover what people are capable of, to explore true human potential, you need to apply effective tools and strategies consistently and push yourself and others beyond perceived limits, then see where it takes you. You cannot just theorise.

The Theme of This Site and of Personal Evolution

The central guiding theme of this site and of Personal Evolution is that anything can be achieved through effective, targeted training and conditioning. All that is needed are the following four principles:

  • Clarity of Purpose: A clearly defined purpose for where you aim to be. If you have ambiguous or indifferent aims or simply go with the flow, you will end up going over the falls, that is a guarantee.

  • Concentration of Power: Someone who dabbles and samples their way through life just to “see how it goes” is hardly a model for human potential. Focussing all of your power on a specific area will, over time, create exponential and unlimited momentum for that targeted area, the lessons of which will spill over into other aspects of your life. Think of a dangerous chemical diluted, it has less effect the more it is diluted, but concentrated it has the power to unleash all of its potential.

  • Progression: Without regular, incremental progression, human potential will remain out of reach. In order to realise human potential in any area there must be a constant forward momentum. Imagine if you went surfing and the wave just slowed to a stop, you would fall off the face of it, the same is true in life and in physical pursuits.

    Progressing and fine-tuning consistently on your area of focus will lead to enormous results, many of which will come in the form of realisations. Think not of the progression in the immediate sense, think about the compounding effect over time.

  • Mental Toughness: Mental toughness is a little harder to put into words, it is an intangible but highly valuable asset that MUST be present if you are to push beyond current limitations and reach a higher level of development, both physically and mentally.

    Without having the mental capacity to push beyond the point at which your body or your intellect tells you to cease, you will remain in a cycle of mediocrity, never reaching rock bottom but never experiencing the dizzying highs of accomplishment through dedicated and disciplined work. You need to condition yourself to mentally push through to the next level.

Personal Evolution is primarily a fitness organisation. Within this site you will find a strong emphasis both on health and on elite physical conditioning. You will also have access to a wide range of tools for preparing yourself mentally for challenges and outstanding development of yourself on a mental or even spiritual level.

If you are to realise maximum human potential through your own efforts then you need to have the physical ability to carry out the actions required to achieve your goals, hence the emphasis on functional fitness as a means to developing internally, externally and holistically in all areas of your life.

What you will find within this site

This site is an ever-changing, continuously updated source of tools, strategies and guidance for mental and physical training, development and conditioning.

As I have stated and will mention dozens of times throughout the site, our central theme is that through training and conditioning, people can adapt to just about anything.

The primary feature of this site is our practical training section. Within the training section you will find drills, games, workouts, exercises and challenges, both mental and physical.

In addition to the training section we have an article section that is continually added to regularly.

Getting Started

Start by reading the guidelines section. This will give you a place to start and provide a clear strategy for applying the training tools.

From there I would advise familiarising yourself with our main principles and the structure of our method. Then follow the training section progressively and consistently.

A final note before you get started

There are no magic bullets or attractive theories here. Human potential can only truly be explored through application and development.

It is entirely up to you, and you only, how far you wish to go. Human potential is a process of discovery about who you are and what you are capable of achieving. Human potential is not an exact science, we are always finding new levels of accomplishment, especially in the physical sense by way of elite athletes. There is always a world record being broken or someone doing something that previously seemed impossible.

Follow the training section and put it to use. There is something here for everyone, regardless of your current capacities. There is no method used for beginners that is different from the advanced, all that differs is the scale and magnitude of which the tools are applied. You will find this site updated very frequently. We have designed this site and our organisation to be followed over the long term with clearly defined difficulty levels from ultra beginner through to super-elite.

Ultimate health, fitness, mental acuity and all-round human potential will remain inaccessible to you if you do not consistently apply what you learn. I will be here to meet you half way, you need to go the other half alone.

Become familiar with our method and put to use the games, exercises, and workouts that are continuously provided within this site. With consistency it WILL pay off and your continuously evolving and developing abilities will permeate every area of your life.
