1. Gymnastics: Essentially using your own bodyweight at varying levels of difficulty, from the simple push-up to the handstand push-up.

2. Power Lifting: Don’t be frightened, this is not only for the hardcore athlete or muscle head. Power lifting just refers to simple strength movements, the ones that produce the best results such as squats and deadlifts.

3. Weightlifting: This refers to dynamic and fast moving exercises like the snatch, clean and jerk and all variations of the above. These are modified as necessary to your current level of fitness and injury status.

4. Metabolic Conditioning: This is another word for cardio. Anything that raises the heart rate is considered metabolic conditioning. This is achieved in a fun variety of ways, not just an hour of jogging or cycling or some other boring method you have tried before. You will be surprised at how much you will actually enjoy this part of your training.

5. Plyometrics and Power Work: Plyometrics and/or other power development methods are absolutely necessary regardless of age or goals. As we age our power declines, this aims to combat the decline and increase your physical capacity in everything that you do. This applies to the elite athlete as much as 78 year old uncle Jim.

We also use games, challenges and sports to add a bit of fun and variety and to test your new skills and fitness level.

How much will it cost?

We tailor programmes to individual needs. The listed costs are subject to change and variation based on individual circumstances, therefore this is just a guide. Keep in mind that our prices reflect the experience and comprehensive expertise of our trainers. Also, our mobile personal trainers offer you the convenience of coming to you, so you don’t have to make a trip to the gym.

I warn against going for a cheaper option, because cheap service is often the compromise, hence effecting your results or possibly ending up exactly where you are now in another 12 months time. It’s like eating out, would you rather take your partner to Encasa for exquisite Spanish cuisine or just go to McDonalds because it’s cheaper?

All sessions are an hour. For these prices to be applicable you must commit to at least two days a week.
